The first Summer Camp of ADA University in partnership with “Tamiz Shahar” OJSC is now completed. A ten-day program has been offered in June and July for secondary school students in Azerbaijan and in total covered 80 participants.
The main objectives of the Summer Camp are to create an educational platform for children, develop intellectual and creative potential of youth through rich and diverse program and instill love for art, nature and care for environment.
Students spent an exciting and fruitful summertime and experienced a variety of activities offered to them. The program was designed in a way that participants get a unique chance to develop their English, general outlook, talents and skills, communication, analytical and logical thinking, as well as make new friends, overcome new challenges and discover something new about themselves.
Filled with interactive games, role plays and fun, the program of Summer Camp included Thematic English classes, Communication Skills and Mass Media, Pantomime Theatre, “Waste-to-Art” master class, Photography, ICT and Engineering, History, National Costumes, National Dance, “Da Vinchi Code” intellectual game, Presentation Skills, “Start Your Business” training.
Commitment to social responsibility and dedication to giving back to the community as one of ADA University missions is necessarily instilled in young generation through presentations on waste management and informational trips to “Waste to Art” museum in Gala, Waste-to-Energy Plant and Balakhani Material Recovery Facility.
Live Pantomime Performance and presentation on history and specifics of Pantomime by Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theatre, Icheri Sheher tour with famous historian Fuad Akhundov and “Start Your Business” training by “Youth Inc” team were the most favorite and memorable for children.
