Authors of the winning projects were awarded with monetary prizes along with the title of “residents” of the ADA Innovation Center for the academic year 2018-2019.
Note that ADA Innovation Center has been established two years ago by personal initiative of rector of the ADA University ambassador Hafiz Pashayev, for the purpose of boosting the innovative way of thinking and the spirit of entrepreneurship among the students. Students of various faculties are working together as a team in order to practice their relevant skills, and look for original and commercially profitable solutions for the most topical issues. According to Coordinator of ADA Innovation Center Emin Alasgarov, in the course of the last two years this initiative has brought up around 40 startup ideas of students. Some of them have managed to gain investment support from local and foreign financial institutions. This year’s winners will “reside” at the ADA Innovation Center for the period of one year, and get the support from the University in the form of office space, expert advice, access to investors’ network and other resources, to help them develop their ideas. The students’ creative ideas have attracted the attention of “Nar”, and the mobile operator has become a partner of the ADA Innovation Center. With support of ADA Innovation Center, students will acquire entrepreneurship experience from the very first years of their study, and this will help them become specialists able to finish their projects and turn them into financial value.
